What are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that, while surfing the Internet, some websites need to record on your computer. Information from cookies is used to personalize content (pages) that are submitted, "connect" the various screens needed to complete transactions (Internet banking or making purchases on the Internet) or to gather data on the profile of users, allowing the recall system characteristics or browsing preferences of previous sessions. However, websites have access only to information provided by the user, otherwise just record the "steps" data on the site, maintaining anonymity. Cookies are not harmful and do not contain personal information.
